Measuring approx. 34x11 inches, this screenprint for The Mars Volta's appearance at the Fillmore in Denver sports an image inspired by discussions Jermaine and Cedric Bixler had this past Spring. Cedric, vocalist for the Volta, brought up 'crip walking', and the two wondered how Jermaine might put it in an image for the band. What Jermaine delivered is an image which he says is a 'mixture of culture, a clash of the inner-city brown man with his own past. I'm going to do more of these...along the same lines.' Utilizing the classic 'telephone pole' format for poster size and layout, this screenprinted gem is an edition of only 120.
