Hendrix kneeling over the burning guitar, coaxing the flames up with his hands. Caraeff was seventeen and standing in the right place. The title does its own work, Wonka by way of the Experience.
“After” is the old gallery word for a work made in open conversation with another. It is a lineage, not a shortcut.
