The imagery was first used for The Mars Volta show in Chicago, IL. Originally, when jr released the print he noted, 'A flock of the enigmatic bird men in repose dominate this print, with seamless colors supplementing the vibe.' Later, 8 years later, with the release of the art print he mentioned this about the birdmen, 'this print depicts the harbingers of worry in a guarded moment of peace. The irony is unfair.'
