The nude fills the frame, curled on her side with one thigh drawn up and her head fallen to the corner. Circles, dotted triangles and coiled lines pour down her right side, where the gold falls.
“After” is the old gallery word for a work made in open conversation with another. It is a lineage, not a shortcut.
