The rabbit's right arm goes straight up into a clenched fist. The fist is a dark leather glove with the cuff showing, white fur above it. The glove, not the bare fist, fixes it to the medal stand.
“After” is the old gallery word for a work made in open conversation with another. It is a lineage, not a shortcut.
