Community Guidelines

This community grew out of eleven years of We Carry Each Other, and its first rule comes along: be honest and respectful with one another. If you have a question or concern about another collector, a listing, or a mod decision, bring it to the mod team before posting about it publicly. A quiet word fixes most things.

Please do not post links to outside sales or listings (eBay, Instagram, Facebook, or anywhere else) in community spaces. Sell wherever you like (the Terms only ask that deals started here finish here): this rule is about links in our shared spaces, not about where you do business. Sales on the Exchange come with escrow, insurance, delivery confirmation, and certification, and every recorded sale keeps comparable values honest for the whole community. An outside link carries none of that protection.

Want to sell a piece? List it on the Exchange and share that listing anywhere on the platform.

Verified artists may always share links to their own stores, drops, and releases, here and anywhere on the platform. That is not an outside sale. That is the source.

Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links do not belong in shared spaces. Sharing your Exchange listing is welcome. Posting the same one in every room is not: once is enough.

This community shows up for its own, and we want to keep it that way. If you would like to share a fundraiser (a GoFundMe for a collector's medical bills, a memorial fund, a benefit), send it to the mod team for a quick approval before posting. We check for one reason: fake fundraisers exist, and we would rather verify than watch one burn the goodwill this community runs on. It is the same instinct behind the Carry Fund.

We do not police the internet. Selling elsewhere, personal disputes, politics: your business is your business. Two exceptions, because they create real risk inside this community: credible threats to a member's safety, and criminal conduct against a member, such as theft or fraud in a transaction. Those can cost you your account. Arguments that stay words are never grounds for removal. If you have a safety concern about a member, bring it to the mod team: removals of this kind are a team decision, not a solo call.

If a link or post crosses these lines, we remove it and tell you why. We assume good faith: most people simply have not read this page. Mods may also remove off-topic or unproductive posts to keep the house clean; if yours vanishes, please do not take it personally. Repeated or deliberate workarounds can cost access to community spaces and, under the Terms, your account. We would much rather never get there.
